Andrew Lanier started his career with Trustpoint Insurance in 2022. He was a 2011 graduate of Virginia Tech, and a member of the Virginia Tech Football team. Prior to his start in the insurance industry, he was a police officer in Auburn, AL and Douglasville, GA for seven years. After moving back to the New River Valley, he worked as a conductor for Norfolk Southern gaining a wide selection of knowledge in industrial labor. Andrew was finally able to turn his passion of helping others as a police officer into a career where he can now help businesses with their risk management. Andrew plans on gaining valuable experience and knowledge in the years to come in helping mitigate risk for future clients.
Andrew is married to Bethany, and together they’re raising three children: Sadie-Mae, Owen, and Reid. They also have two dogs named Remi and Sandie. Andrew can be found on the golf course, the deer stand, or at Virginia Tech Athletic events when he is not running around with his children.
